Go back in time to 1913.

Back to a time… when the Town of Willamette was its own municipality and the City of West Linn was newly incorporated  Cars were only for the super rich, livestock wandered the street and horses outnumbered people 10 to 1.  Women had finally won their right to vote, and suffragists lay down their sashes and banners, only to raise them up again, this time against alcohol . . .the devil's drink! Temperance was the newest issue at hand.

Tours begin on a horse drawn carriage. Then your guides will then lead you as you walk the neighborhood, encounter live scenes of everyday life and meet many of the town leaders who helped shape Willamette's future. You will go inside the homes of some of Willamette’s residents and hear music from the period. Finish your tour at Lavender Bleu Gift Shop with complimentary light snacks, beverages & music.

We invite you to join us for "An Evening in Willamette - 1913."
