The West Linn Historical Society is proud to present its first published book. The book, entitled the "History of West Linn Parks" examines the creation and development of the parks and recreation areas throughout the West Linn area from the early 1900s to today. Known for its outstanding parks system, natural areas and trails, West Linn is consistently rated as one of the most livable cities in Oregon.
This book is dedicated to Ken Worcester, who worked for the West Linn Parks and Recreation Department for over forty years. Ken’s influence on the West Linn community is everywhere. This book attempts to tell the story of West Linn’s parks, which in many ways is also Ken’s story.
