1. Abby Farber: Do You Know THIS About West Linn? Some Fun Facts
Abby Farber moved to West Linn from the East Coast about 10 years ago. She's a retired financial consultant to nonprofit groups and enjoys exploring and learning about the West Coast.
2. Linus Pauling: From Chemistry, to Peace, to Controversy
Augustus Day graduated with honors from West Linn High School in 2025 and is currently taking a gap year to travel and pursue his interests before attending university. He's passionate about history, politics, and social justice.”
3. Randall Fastabend: Eventful Robinwood
(A look at what has been occurring under our very noses at the Robinwood Station for the past 16 years)
Bio: Randall Fastabend is a grumpy, retired, short white guy with over 30 years of experience in Science Museums and Theatres. For the past 16 years, he has volunteered as the manager of the Robinwood Station. Fortunately for all of us, he does not do this alone.
4. Kathryn Sinor: Flirting by Fruitbox: Dating from a 20th Century Oswego Farm
Bio: Kathryn Sinor is the director of the Oswego Heritage Council in Lake Oswego and has been involved in museum work for over a decade. With a Master’s degree in History, Kathryn is most interested in helping people understand today’s world through the lens of the past and using that knowledge to propel us to a better, more equitable future.
5. David Hedges: Willamette Falls in the Gold Age of Steam
Bio: David Hedges is a West Linn poet and author whose ancestors came to Oregon in the mid-1800s.
6. Kevin Bryck: Cedar Island
Bio: Kevin Bryck is a retired white guy slightly taller than Randall Fastabend but much grumpier. He has 50 years of experience in industrial and interior design, fabrication and construction. For the past 16 years he has volunteered as the Development Director for the Robinwood Station. Community Center. Unfortunately (from his perspective) he has ‘help’ from others in this endeavor.
