The Bolton baseball team poses for a portrait on the front steps of the old Bolton School. The coach, in the back row, is Mayor Frank Hammerle. A note on the original photo states that many of these players became West Linn city councilors. Many communities at this time fielded their own baseball teams. Note that the Bolton team apparently included only ten players; there was not a lot of substitutions in those days.
